Since beginning his professional career in 2003, Wayne has built a body of work defined by versatility, powerful vocals and an instinctive connection with audiences. His sound blends pop, soul and R&B with the energy and storytelling of a theatre-bred performer.

Wayne’s journey began in the theatres of Johannesburg. Appearances in Fame The Musical, Footloose The Musical and The Magic Flute established the dramatic foundation that continues to shape his work. His screen experience includes work on the long-running South African television series Isidingo.

Since 2012, Wayne has been a regular performer with Barnyard Theatre, appearing in productions including Thank You for the Music, Forever Young, 80’s Rewind, La Vida, Live in Vegas, Big Top Rock, Iconic, Super Trooper, 50 Carat Gold and The Final Countdown.

As a recording artist, Wayne’s catalogue has generated more than 300,000 streams. “Teen My Wil” reached number one on Heidelberg Radio, while his English originals include “Until I Forget You” and “Foolin’ Around,” written and produced by Daniel Baron.

His collaborative experience includes working as a backing vocalist in Garth Taylor’s band. In 2026, Wayne features on “Perfectly Me” by Jono Johanson from The Voice, a collaboration first written together in 2023.

Wayne is currently developing the forthcoming Afrikaans single “Voel” and the Spanish-inspired English release “Slow Fire (Fuego Lento).” A possible South African tour is being explored for 2027.
